Kevin turned up as arranged to assess job and followed up with a written quote. As with all building/repair work (especially on an old house) there were some teething problems, but Kevin listened and dealt with everything we discussed. Very good work carried out within 2 weeks of first contact. Work was a little stop-start due to material sourcing issues but the team worked a very long Saturday shift to complete the work. Contractor was very knowledgeable and I'm confident the work done has enhanced the value of my property.

Thanks Paul, here is how I see it from a customers perspective. I waited over two weeks for an estimate and had to chase. You said you were off sick and immediately sent me an estimate for £395 . I costed the parts and they were around £70 so you were charging £325 for labour. I reckoned it was a 2hr job and have since had work done and just under 2hrs at a total cost of £190. So in my simple head you were charging £160/hour for labour versus £60/hour . Just tell customers the truth if job too small
