AF Building&Maintenance Ltd was formed in 2015 by Arek Fleszer, who has 22 years experience in the construction industry. It is a small, friendly and thriving company. We have completed a number of contracts with various multinational and local companies.
Arek gave us a fair quote and worked with us for a suitable start date. Arek, Kris and Gutek were lovely, friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble and did a fantastic job of the work we needed doing even going beyond to ensure a good finish. Absolute pleasure to have them here for 7-8 weeks. The best tradesman I’ve ever encountered! Always respectful, clean and tidy. A great work ethic trying to find solutions to problems and extremely hard working. Nicu is incredibly knowledgeable about every building work including plumbing, roofing, insulation, tiling, general decoration. He advised me on what to prioritise, the materials to use and gave me options as I was on a budget with many repairs that needed doing. I cannot recommend Nicu highly enough.

I am very disappointed with James' work.He knew before he started what needed doing. He seemed to panic about everything. He estimated that the job would take two days (Monday & Tuesday) At 4pm on Tuesday he said that he was going and would be back on SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!! I told him, in no uncertain terms what I thought about that and he stayed until 8pm to finish the job. The job, to install new worktops is far from perfect. The sink is set in at a slight angle and the worktops are not straight. I realise that I should have complained and withheld payment but I was so upset by the end that I couldn't face it. I am elderly, disabled and live alone. Why do tradesmen think that it is OK to take us for a ride?
