Hello all, my name is Steve, and i am a time served electrician of over 40 years experience. My son Edward has trained as a plasterer. My partner Sara is a very accomplished designer and painter and decorator. I have worked for the electricity board for many years and have industrial and home electrical nstallation experience. Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. I am happy to do emergency or weekend work. I also worked as a kitchen/bathroom fitter for John Lewis for a number of years and therefore am very conscientious of the quality of work expected from high-end clients. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

David fitted carpets in both my lounge and bedroom and lino in my kitchen. I am a landlady and have moved away from my property in Exeter. Everything was arranged either by email or phone and David kept me very well informed throughout the project. His advice was invaluable and the finished result is excellent.
Paul was very efficient and professional. I liked getting a printed quote and then a printed invoice at the end. He was always on time, very clean and tidy and respectful of my property. Arrived every day at the time he promised, his work was excellent, cleaned up on completion each day. Have to say Paul is an extremely good tiler, I questioned him about another job I am looking to have done in the near future, Painting and decorating, his response was, give me a ring when I wanted it done. Not easy taking on a job started by someone else, but he got on with the job and made a good job of it. Only used him once but would def call him back again.
The quote was very reseonable, though the job seemed to become slighly rushed and some attention to detail was lost.

Paul has been absolutely brilliant!
