So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I asked originally to have new fencing panels put in, a new patio placed at the top of my garden and to have my new shed built. What I now have are absolutely beautiful fence panels that will last for ages. Even more amazing is the wonderful raised patio at the back of my garden, which I am absolutely overjoyed with. Over 30 years of experience as a multi-tradesman. As well as being a qualified plumber I specialise in other wet trades e.g Decorating, Plastering & Rendering, Tiling & Bricklaying. Also, I fit laminate flooring, skirtings, architraves and timber stud work. I am always punctual and reliable, and clean and tidy in my work. I am also happy to assist in planning and designing projects.
The job was priced fairly and the work was completed in a good timeframe. Good communication, polite and delivered a first class job whilst leaving everything tidy. We are a small friendly local building company with over 15 years experience. We specialise in residential renovations and extensions and are able to provide estimates for all works big or small.
Overall Paul and his team did a great job, the workmanship is acceptable, and the team were friendly, helpful and open to discuss what they were doing. However; it often felt like my job was being juggled with other more important jobs, I’ve been asked by subsequent trades how it took over a year to complete a job that should have taken a few months. There are several issues that Paul has refused to rectify, the roof leaks (which has just cost me £7k to replace). Overall I’m disappointed in the service.
