Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. We are happy to quote anything, bespoke is my passion. If you can’t get someone to build it, we can! Please feel free to browse photos of my work, I will try upload a little bit of everything. Ashley and his team removed an awful worn out decking and old patio and replaced it with a lovely brick and stone patio. They had to do a work to resolve different ground levels in our garden and between us and our neighbours. They replaced fencing and posts to. They were a great bunch, turned up when they said, listened and turned my idea in reality. Cannot thank them enough, I was impressed with their workmanship, hard work and commitment to complete the job.

Neil came round and gave an honest quote to us; told us decent time scales and was honest about what he could do and how he would complete our job. The job was a simple rip out of old cloak room, installation of new loo and vanity unity, boxing in of pipes, laying Camaro flooring and decorating. During the completion of the job, he turned up on time, completed the project to an excellent standard and is probably the tidiest tradesperson I know! We will definitely use Neil in any of our future projects.

I would definitely recommend contacting Tess Con to quote for any roofing jobs you need attending to. Our job needed extra work, which we'd anticipated as our roof is very large and nearly 120 years old, and a mutually acceptable additional cost was agreed. The whole process went very smoothly. Communication was excellent throughout. Everything was tidied up at the end of each day, all waste was removed and the two sets of scaffolding removed at the first possible opportunity after the job was completed.

Joe and Martin did an excellent job of taking off the existing varnish on our very worn external windows and doors, sanding back to bare wood and re-varnishing. No job was too much for them. They went to the trouble of getting the varnish we asked for and the brand of paint we wanted for the fascias and soffits. Joe was excellent at communicating what time they would be turning up. They were extremely polite, tidied up after themselves every day and left no mess. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Robert had to deal with a very neglected garden, he listened to what i wanted to achieve and advised on how to improve the condition of the soil, as my garden is mostly clay based his advice was very welcome, in the 2 hours he spent doing a first tidy and cutting down of old shrubs the transformation was stunning, we have agreed on further work in 2 weeks time , when compost and plants/shrubs will be added to the garden, his pricing is very reasonable, Rob is very polite and cleans up after work
