Over all, an excellent job was done although due to poor weather, a three day job became a three week one. Several unseen problems became apparent during this work, but everything was explained and reasons given for delays / further expense. Time keeping wasn’t great as on many occasions they’d arrive after 09:00 and would have gone by 16:00 at the latest. However, very satisfied with the result.

Highly recommended, George did a fantastic job of building our storage cupboards. We are so pleased with the results! As well as being a highly skilled carpenter, George was very reliable and a really nice chap.

Henry has done an excellent job in re-rendering my property and associated tasks. He showed expertise when advising me on the work to be under taken. He kept me abreast of progress and was reliable and professional throughout the process. The work has been completed to a high standard and I am very happy to have chosen Henry James as my builder. Found that Henry Was very satisfied with the quality and care good understanding of the work that was required and was able to point out additional needed work

Really pleasant people to do business with. Very flexible with dates & times. Came when they said they would. Only advertised a very small job which put off most traders. We have just had our garden completely made over and landscaped by Bruce and Seamus. An absolutely outstanding job we are beyond delighted. From the very first meeting to discuss the project, to the moment they swept up on the final day it has been a breeze. Come rain and considerable shine they marched on transforming a sad old patch into something we are truly proud of. Nothing was too much trouble, creative thinking mixed with true artisan skills. Highly recommended!

Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

I apologise for not having posted a rating before now. I thought I had already done so. Our loft conversion has transformed how we live.The cost was fair. The work was carried out to a good standard, quickly and tidily with minimum disruption. We are happy with the result. The "Boys" were friendly and easy to have about and full of good advice. I would use Roy again and have already recommended to others.
