My name is Ian Cockerill, I'm in my mid 50's, I have gained 38 years experience in general house maintenance & general repair/replacements of bathrooms/Kitchens/doors/skirting/floor laminate laying & floor tiling. I also specialise in wood from making child's play equipment to sheds/summer houses & gazebos, I'm new to Rated People, as I was persuaded to join from a customer, all of my work has come from word of mouth over the years. We specialise in outdoor living spaces in the garden, the extra space has become a place to escape the kids, the TV or the other half! I have built garden studios from scratch or put together flat packs, the choices are endless, with decks and chill out zones for BBQ’s and other events . It’s like your own home from home in the garden. The interior space of the second house can be customised any way you want, flat screen TV ,Sound system, recording Studio, sound proof practice studio for wanna be Phil Collins’ or Ginger Baker’s!! With social distancing and all the restrictions imposed on us, this is the ideal area to exploit, however large or small. With our knowledge and expertise we can transform that space into a little haven. Anthony is just the best. He came round for the initial look around and quote, we had a good chat and got on right away. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. Made a very good job of copying an existing radiator cabinet and in fact made two for less than what I was quoted for one, by a big specialist company.
