Actually, didn't do the job I posted on Rated people, but carried out other work for me. This was to a good enough standard that I have asked to be quoted on getting more work done along the lines of what was ordinarily asked for.

Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. I am happy to do emergency or weekend work. I also worked as a kitchen/bathroom fitter for John Lewis for a number of years and therefore am very conscientious of the quality of work expected from high-end clients. Difficult to comment on value - seemed like a good price but didnt have time for comparisons, so may have been great! Happy with quality now but had to point out two areas that needed filling. To be fair, Rob did come to check on job and that I was happy with the work his "boys" had done, and immediately sorted out areas I had pointed out. Turned up as arranged - I would use them again

I think the job cost more than I expected it to
He did phone ahead to say he was 15 minutes away, but it was actually an hour. Everything else was OK, got a quote, and he answered the questions I asked.
John did a decent job moving some pipes around in my roofspace, although it took twice as long as he had estimated. He then borrowed £20 "for petrol money to get home" and did not pay it back. He has banked my cheque and ignored my request for an invoice. He refuses to respond to phone messages and texts. Use him at your own risk.
