George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Mark and his team did an ok job fixing my patio, but I was disappointed that he couldn't or wouldn't re-hang my garden gate. The patio part of the contract was completed in October 2024. I am writing this on 22nd January 2025 and the gate is still not done. The gate cannot be closed after the half-hearted attempt that was made to do the job. After many texts chasing him he has not now responded since mid-December. My advice? If you do engage this company, don't pay him anything until the job is complete.

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

They responded quickly. Did the job so far, so good. Time will tell if the patchwork of rendering stays in place and does the job. I have given them 5 stars on the chance that it does. They replied quickly, came when said and sent me a written quote by email. They came on the day they said they would and worked into the evening with flood lights. They came back next day to clean up. I have however discovered they took a panel off our Decking and did not put it back. I have messaged them but no reply. So five stars for quote and timing. I would give less for the after service. We will however be getting them back later in the year for a shed/garden house construction.

Needed my old slab and tarmac driveway replacing. Put out a job request and Steve at midland construction came to quote. Decided his was the best company to do the job and he knew what I wanted. The work was carried out over 4 days,his two men worked very hard removing and preparing for the pour of concrete, which was carried out over two days,they worked tidily and finished the job on time,very pleased with the work carried out.
