A quick, efficient and friendly set of guys. I had them in to clean and paint my mums fence, and then she asked them to do some jet washing and further painting around the garage. Absolute attention to detail, coving on an old flat with uneven walls and ceilings, looks fantastic and hasn't been painted yet. Properly hard grafter. I would recommend him without question. I am excited to see the skirting boards and the painting complete, I have no doubt it will be quality.
I have been in this double glazing for over 35years . Manufacting / fitting and the last 17 years service engineer for a large double glazing company . I always look to repair first before saying new window /door is needed . I can upgrade door locks if same cant be found . I repair leaks on conservatory / door / windows. If you want New Windows or Doors and Conservatories i can do . I Have Liabiliy insurance cover.
Good work but VERY expensive!
So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. I'm afraid I can't recommend this company. Communication was poor. The job was more or less completed, but seeing the time spent, the materials used and the state the room was left in, I'd say we were overcharged for both materials and labour. It was a bit of a rushed job. He just ran away at the end, leaving doors and windows wide open, and didn't explain to me what had been done. Perhaps he was busy or whatever, but not a careful job and not the work I would expect for the price.

The ceiling was painted but the staining re-appeared. The painter agreed to come back but failed to turn up on two occasions. I will make other arrangements to get the job finished, and I will not be using rated people again, as two bad experiences are enough, particularly as i have only tried twice!

He was very reliable, reasonably priced and worked to our budget, his craftsmanship was very good, he was a quick (and tidy) worker, and he gave us plenty of extra advice and tips for other rooms. Job done in a friendly and considerate way, and we liked the result. Issues which arose (e.g. water coming through ceiling below two evenings after they'd left) were rectified, and snags at the end were dealt with promptly. Cleaning up was fairly good but not perfect - tiles needed quite a bit of further scraping, scouring and buffing to remove traces of grout and adhesive. But altogether perfectly satisfied that we got what we paid for.
