£5K paid and no bathroom! After initial meeting saying he will squeeze me in, I was left with NO bathroom and £5K out of pocket! I agreed to a £10,400 bathroom, escalated quickly to £13,400 after ripping my old bathroom. 4 boarded walls, a few pipes and 1 electric cable coming out the ceiling, this was apparently the first fix done! He walked off after I only paid £1.5K of the last £2.5K he asked for and sent a text to say he would not be back! An assessment of work was carried out by trades in evidence.

I was looking to get some sash windows restored without breaking the bank and I’m so glad we got Shane in in to do the work, high standards of work, great workmanship and all done in a cost effective and timely manner, I have zero hesitations to recommend Shane going forward and he will be my go to guy from now on. David and his team were brilliant to deal with. David got in touch shortly after I posted the advert. He gave me a good price and arranged to come out to sort everything. After he sent me a text on the original date, we decided to wait until a drier day. He was in touch first thing this morning to make sure things were still going to plan and arrived when he said he would. He and his team have just left after completing a superb job capping all my steps and bathroom sill. Very happy and will use again.

Bill was excellent! He came out quickly and gave me a quote right away. We discussed the different options as we had to fix someone else’s shoddy work and came to a solution. Great workmanship from start to finish repairing the mess left by a previous company. John was very friendly and helpful throughout and even fitted skirting boards in a bedroom at no extra charge. I would thoroughly recommend John for any joinery work and will be seeking him out again in the near future.

your quote was £1800... And that was for materials and labour... If there was any materials left over then they were mine as I had paid for them hence in your quote so any extras u did for me would have been labour costs only I asked you the cost to get hut painted you said no more than £70 but you only painted the roof so no more than £30 hose on to wall no more than £30 a strip of wood round the fence a slab at the hut and some sand round the hut... That's all I can think of that comes nowhere near £500
