We found Kurt to be reliable, hard working and really easy to deal with. He put us in touch with another contact too, and together they worked as a team to re-build and fit our kitchen exterior wall with new bi-fold doors. Kurt also helped prepare our chimney for a new wood burning stove - overall a great job and the work of a high quality. Highly recommended - thank you!

James is a pleasant young man whose standard of workmanship is very good. He understood the requirements of the job - transforming a very ugly toilet into an inviting one - he worked very hard to meet expectations - to which he succeeded. We have already identified further jobs that we wish James to undertake - and would not hesitate in recommending him.

I can’t rate Andy highly enough. As a landlord living 200miles from the property Andy was in great communication with me every step of the way with discussions on the phone, drawings by email and videos of the job by WhatsApp. He’s punctual, competitively priced and a really nice person to deal with.

This was a small job to demolish a brick pillar at front of my house affected by root growth and rebuild a new pillar. From my initial contact with Greg, til the completion of the job, my experience was excellent. He turned up to quote for the work at the agreed time. The very reasonable quote was given immediately and on acceptance Greg was able to fit in this small job within a few days. He turned up on time, did an excellent job and left the site tidy. Very impressed.

First time using Rated People and it was first class great online communications and follow up processes. Mike Baker was first rate from initial call back through to completion. Took time to talk through requirements, meet on site to survey and estimate the work, providing a clear cost and timescale. Unfortunately as soon as the work was done we developed a leak in the roof (I'm not saying they are related). We were told by Alan's son that the damp was simply the wall drying out. It wasn't and got progressively worse. We did contact Alan again who said he'd come around but didn't. Three other builders have said that the lead work wasn't correctly done and we've since had to pay for it to be redone.
