Fast, competent and friendly service. Finished off and fixed a patio where the original people had left the job unfinished, and added an additional section, that frankly looked way better than the existing work. I wish I had gone with these guys sooner. Fantastic work, that included aftersales care advice, and even offered to send a roofer he knew for some additional unrelated work.

Robert was a great worker. The weather let us down for a while at the start, but he kept me as up to date as he could. Job is now complete.

Terrible job left grout all over tiles which has now dried in had to get him back the nxt day slightly better job hopefull bath is sealed. Think I should get my money back will NEVER use him again forvthis type of job.

Very Happy with the work done guys worked hard and Hugh was Happy to answer any questions I had. Hugh was very knowledgeable and friendly and job was done to a very good standard. I would have no hesitation in hiring him again

Builder has now responded and assures me that the snagging problems will be fixed next week. I am glad that he has been in touch as I don't like giving negative feedback, but as I rely on other people's feedback feel it only fair to be as honest as possible without malice. ****Four Stars ****

Great work on our bathroom from this company. Clear and honest communication prior to the work. Started and finished on time despite a few unexpected bumps in the road. Top drawer standard of work. Would highly recommend and will for sure use again

Jim and his son worked on my roof and gutters , Did a really good job they are genuine tradespeople they explained everything that needed to be done and give me a accurate quote they came to my home when they said they would and got on with the job, pleased with the workmanship, would certainly have no hesitation in using McMillans again!

Mr Macenzie's quote was in the same region as the other quotes. Unfortunately he left the work to his apprentice. The work when complete seamed ok though untidy. Unfortunately the boiler lost pressure, the pipes banged, the condensate pipe fell off the boiler and the radiators stopped heating evenly. He never turned up for appointments to fix. Then he did not return calls/ texts & email not active I have had to get another engineer to fix system costing more. Would discourage anyone from employing this man

John Kenny done a decent job replacing new decking for me, but he built a garden gate which has been very disappointing. Paid him £500 for this gate and he used internal wood which has swollen and cracked and I’m unable to close or lock the gate.. tried to contact him for weeks to no avail.
