Phil did a fantastic job on not only helping to cut back the overgrown trees & bushes and removal of items (wood store, composter, etc), but also built a fabulous herringbone brick pathway so I can more easily wheel my rubbish bins out to the street. Not only were both jobs done extremely professionally, but at a reasonable price. And Phil is a super nice guy. Will definitely be giving him more work!

He is a highly competent, hard working, very competitive worker. His work is flawless and he is very versatile. He has completed many jobs after the first job was completed. I have no hesitation in recommending his work. My only concern is his communication as English is not his first language but if he's not sure about anything he will ask so that isn't a big issue. Ionut was prompt and fast . However would not snag minor items saying holes were not filled as needed silicone so he did not do them . asked him for a list for of materials and bought what he asked for …He never asked for silicone . now have to try and do it myself which defeats the object of employing a professional . He also was reluctant to work around furniture and quite unresponsive when asked to remedy things . Overall though a good job if he could address these minor issues he could be 5 *

Hired to sand, fill, prime and paint a front door, and surrounding wood work. Did a very poor job I am afraid. Not sanded back or filled well (filler not made good, lumpy). Not primed. Looks like painted with treacle. Drips everywhere, matt patches, marks on adjoining white paintwork. I paid almost 30% of agreed price (£350) to cover time and materials but to be fair I really shouldn't have even paid that as the whole job needs to be done again. Shame as Harry is a pleasant guy but just not skilled.

Clive was curteous friendly and took great care in giving me an excellent result. He put in a lot of hours and recommended a complete replacement of the underlying structure for a very resonable extra cost. He found the original frame had rotted considerably and the new frame he put in was superior to the original. I have nothing but praise for Clive and Kevin who worked on my replacement decking. I am totally satisfied and recommend Clive to anyone wanting first class Carpentry services.
