Both my wife and I were more than impressed with Roy and the guys from Five Star Decorations. I honestly thought that we were going to be charged more once the work had began due to the nature of our internal walls. But Roy said initial quote stood and there would be no additional cost. The initial quote we were sent was a clear and concise breakdown of the job in hand and really understood our requirements, there were no hidden costs. They made sure our house was habitable after everyday and kept disruption down to a minimum, especially as we have a small baby, which Roy was very mindful about. The end result far exceeded our expectationss and I would not have any problem employing Five Star Decorations again.

The company provided a very competitive quote and commenced work promptly on the day agreed. When issues arose they were brought to our attention without delay and there were no hidden charges. We would certainly use the company again.

We told Pedro what we wanted and he did some CGI images for us, we chatted on the phone about stuff and also things we liked. His attention to detail was brilliant, he worked quickly and kept us up to date with the projects development with pictures. Nothing was too much trouble, and we couldn't be happier with the completed job. In fact we have divided this project in two, phase one is now done and we will start phase two early next year. David and Tom Harker completely redecorated the hall in our 4 storey Victorian House. This included stripping/repapering under the dado rail throughout the hall. I was impressed how much care and effort they put into the preparation phase of the work. The painting/papering was then completed with minimal fuss and to a high standard. They were also very considerate, always leaving the work areas clean and tidy and not invading out personal space. I would recommend them without hesitation.

We feel so lucky to have found Colin for decorating our kitchen, family room, study, bedroom and utility room. He's done the most amazing job swiftly and efficiently and we are so pleased with his work. Not only did he do a brilliant job but he was meticulous in tidying up afterwards and always kept a smile on his face! Dave quickly assessed the cost and gave a quote which he kept to. He turned up at the time he said he would, he got on with the job and cleaned up once he had finished. We've asked him to quote for more work and he has come back with reasonable prices.

Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.
