The qualifications your kitchen specialist needs
There are no specific qualifications to become a kitchen design or installation specialist, and typically their experience will cover a range of different skills.
Often, kitchen installers use a team of specialists, such as a plumbing, tiling or carpentry specialist, who are either fully employed by them or subcontractors.

Honest review. Fitting worktop - done to a good standard. Had to return the following day to install a shaker shelf as the oven needed to be raised. This was not put on straight so had to ask him to correct it (which he did no problem) the worktop needed the edging put on as he didn’t do it the day before.. asked a few times he said he would do it, started scratching away on the edges and has now chipped the corner of the front of the worktop and has still not done the edging. Sink leaking also.Won’t reply.

Scott was brilliant at fitting our worktops, upstands and all the finishing pieces to the kitchen including kickboards, end panels, filler panels and even built us a couple of book shelves with left over pieces of panelling to match the rest of the kitchen. Had issues with Kris from the beginning. Agreed a quote of £600 for 30 squares. First day came down spent 3 hours and all that was lad was 6squares of underlay . Equipment didn’t work. second day did around 8 squares of laminate flooring was always out at the car. Third day he’d started at 8:30 but at around 10 he started talking about additional costs which he did not raise in the beginning. So I asked him to leave and paid him for work completed. Work ok but slow but would not trust as could cost you.
