Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. I have recently joined rated people because I have had enough of the site work and feel its time to slow down and offer my experience to private work. First time I have used rated people website and had just 1 reply. Apple Carpentry though have been great. We needed to have 2 large windows in a 1930s house replaced but didn't want to have UPVC. Communication from the Company was excellent and the finished product is outstanding. We would definitely recommend them to anybody wishing to have a high quality joinery project completed. Our windows look amazing and are exact copy of the old frames and they also managed to use the original lead glass.
I originally used Bouchers Building for the installation of a kitchen and utility room. They were able to come in well below my original estimate (and thousands below B&Q's!) without any sacrifice on quality. Since then I've used them for several other projects around the house, including flooring and skirting, at really competitive prices and look forward to using them in the future as well.

I apologise for not having posted a rating before now. I thought I had already done so. Our loft conversion has transformed how we live.The cost was fair. The work was carried out to a good standard, quickly and tidily with minimum disruption. We are happy with the result. The "Boys" were friendly and easy to have about and full of good advice. I would use Roy again and have already recommended to others.

Kept us informed as the job progressed. The carpenter did come across obstacles which were new to him but this was due to the job not being straight forward and parts were tricky due to a brick hearth and a spiral staircase both to have wood flooring fitted around. The job has turned out really nice and I would recommend him.
