He replied to messages quickly, turned up when he said he would, and was correct that our tree had in fact died. James was professional the whole time and we would have no hesitation in hiring and recommending him to others in the future.

Unfortunately this job seemed to be beyond Jay's ability and we had to stop it part way through and find someone else to finish it. On the positive side Jay recognised this and was very apologetic and was certainly not trying to rip us off. But I cannot recommend him for this type of job (replacing existing front door and frame with new frame and door).

Friendly and honest lads. Martin came looked at the roofing job told me what was needed and how much. A few days later they came and did the job found a few more faults but put these right as well at no extra cost. Great work, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Will be using them again.
Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Their range of ability, attention to detail and work ethic has been really reliable. They turned up every day all day and nothing was too much trouble. Aaron and his team worked really hard to get a good job done. Lots of communication to make sure we were happy with what they were doing and when. Left the site nice and tidy and were a pleasure to deal with.
The tradesmen only came to see the job and never turned up for the job. No replies to text messages or calls. Not reliable as there is no communication from him.

Arranged an appointment at property for a repair quote. They didn't turn up.
Kevin sounded very good on the phone so i booked him to come over a few days later. he never showed up. i phoned him and he didn't answer, then at 5;30 (he was meant to be here at 5) called to say he wont be able to make it. we rearranged for a few days later. he never showed up or called. Obviously i can't say anything about the quality of his work, as i never had the opportunity to use his service, but if you definitely need a job done and a tradesman that will show up- i suggest you look elsewhere. .
