I had a French drain installed to the rear of my house. It's an old house circa 1890 so I needed a sympathetic course of action to stop a damp problem. Martin has in depth knowledge about historic and ancient buildings which is a must. If you need work on an older house with more traditional methods, I can highly recommend the expertise. The job was well divided into separate teams, which allowed the job to move on in a defind way, so that we could follow and understand its progress. Each team were clearly experts in there field. Pat and Sam made very short work of removing two bushes and stumps, plus trimming the front hedge, jobs which together that would have taken me all day. The gentleman that came was very friendly, diagnosed the problem in seconds, went to his van, got some lubricant and fixed the lock. He was in the house for about 15 mins. He said he had come from Leicester which I know is about an hour away. Now this is where I'm not sure. He charged me £60 which seems a lot for a 2 minute job. Obviously petrol, it wasn't an emergency. Is that normal price?
