Paul was very prompt with providing a fixed priced quotation which was within budget. He was available to start immediately and arrived the next day at time agreed. He put in a full days work everyday, and would work on to finish what he had programmed if necessary. He was very tidy and had all the tools and dust sheets required. Ccb sent me with a formal quote via this site to undertake; leadwork, repair broken rooftiles, put in garage drainage and provide a quote for painting the external wall. The rooftiles were not repaired, others were broken as the leadwork was done. The drainage is incomplete and Chris Cook collected the money for the painting on 7 July and has disappeared with £220>00 which is dishonest.I have made many, many attempts to contact him to return my funds. Dont trust this builder

They performed such a great job of the detached garage project we then without hesitation had them build an extension to our house (on going project). We cannot speak highly enough of their workmanship and work ethic to date. Here, they typically start before 07:30 and when needed on weekends always putting in a full days work. Complicated foundations, both in depth and location. 36 pile foundations at a depth of 9 meters. ROOF LEAK AFTER HEAVY RAIN After picking up the job on Rated People Adam attended and within 48 hours provided a broad quote for the work needed, additionally cautioned me as to the possibility of necessary work not immediately apparent at first sight. Adam and his friendly, competent team arrived as arranged, did a good job to roof verges, Ridges, Valleys, replacing tiles and cleaning up the site daily. Three weeks later after more heavy rain and snow my roof is sound. Thank you! Highly commended.

Patrick has now contacted me re the still leaking roof explaining politely and apologetically the lack of contact was due to a family illness problem - and has refunded the cost of the failed part of therepair. My initial negative review was borne out of the frustration you might expect with rainwater literally running into the bedroom. His team had initially turned up very promptly and worked enthusiatically and rapidly, attending to the fascias, gutter and drainpipes to my satisfaction.

Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. I have recently joined rated people because I have had enough of the site work and feel its time to slow down and offer my experience to private work.
