When I politely told him this he sent me several messages saying he'd paid £45 for the job and basically that he'd wasted his money. Hired to sand, fill, prime and paint a front door, and surrounding wood work. Did a very poor job I am afraid. Not sanded back or filled well (filler not made good, lumpy). Not primed. Looks like painted with treacle. Drips everywhere, matt patches, marks on adjoining white paintwork. I paid almost 30% of agreed price (£350) to cover time and materials but to be fair I really shouldn't have even paid that as the whole job needs to be done again. Shame as Harry is a pleasant guy but just not skilled.
