Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. Michael and (another) Craig turned up to do the job on the day, time given. Good, tidy job. Can't fault anything, from start to finish!! Would recommend!

George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Harry is very competent and likeable young man. Did a repair to a brick wall that had been knocked down. Couldn't get the original bricks as they are obsolete but managed to do a good job using some of the old ones and sourcing some others to fit in. Very happy with the result and highly recommend him.

I have been a qualified carpenter and joiner for 45 years and am fully covered with public liability insurance. All aspects of carpentry undertaken ie fitted kitchens, tiling work including bathrooms, new roofs and repairs.
Really nice guy and keen to work
We used LFC for a rear ground floor extension, this was the 1st time we had undertaken major build work, so we were understandably nervous. LFC made us feel very comfortable, there work was of the highest quality and they worked extremely hard; even tidying up at the end of each day. We were consulted on a regular basis as to how work was proceeding and given options for directions forward. I would thoroughly recommend LFC to anyone in need of build work – large or small, their prices are incredibly good and the dedication and attention to detail are very impressive. Very much look forward to using LFC in the future.

Whilst I had noticed that Fred seemed to have more recommendations for gardening / landscaping of late - Fred didn't disappoint. Fred is an experienced brickie (see earlier comments), and whilst not a massive job (brickwork up to DPC on two seperate bases) - was impressed with his work. Gabriel and Adrian did an excellent job with my small bathroom refit. Not only were they super helpful (assisting me to collect an item) but they also identified potential issues with the job as we went on and suggested cost effective remedies to ensure the finish was the highest possible spec. This included using bonding to fix a panel which had been poorly installed by my developers. I’m really happy with the result and would recommend them highly!
