Lewis and his team did a very good job with restoring bricks on my old Victorian house. Painted with all kind of paint by previous owner. Lewis knew exactly what is the best way to clean it off and the result exceeded my expectation. Very good re-pointing and prefect colour match of the mortar mixing 3 different types of sand I have never heard of. Also keeps you updated regarding progress and plan for the next day. Punctual and reliable. I am very happy with the result and will certainly use him again.
Daniel and Alex from Criteria have restored my faith in builders. They were very friendly (no hard sell) and helped to assess the job that I needed with very useful hints and tips. The one point I liked the most was the way they worked. Very neat and tidy and with attention to detail. I suppose I am fussy but I believe that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing properly. It has been great to find guys that actually seem to have pride in what they do and I would recommend them very highly.

Job was to re-point my property, the bin area and the concrete slabs in the garden = Job was done to a high quality and I am extremely pleased with the results. I went for Huttons as he was the better rated and experienced of the other quotes. We are very pleased with the bookcase. We did have a number of hiccups and this is where I rate them best. Without complaint, issues were sorted out / corrected - I was not left in any way feeling awkward or anything. Often I think it is how a tradesman responds to the hiccups that sets them apart from the others, as not every job is smooth. That is why I would highly recommend them, because if you do have an issue, I can assure you it will be sorted out.

Barry was very friendly and cheerful, turned up when he said he would and got on with the job with no fuss at all. He was very unobtrusive when working and performed the work to a high standard. There were a couple of things we noticed that weren't quite right once the work had finished, and he was very happy to come back round and sort things out even a couple of months later. Would definitely recommend him.
