Daniel and Alex from Criteria have restored my faith in builders. They were very friendly (no hard sell) and helped to assess the job that I needed with very useful hints and tips. The one point I liked the most was the way they worked. Very neat and tidy and with attention to detail. I suppose I am fussy but I believe that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing properly. It has been great to find guys that actually seem to have pride in what they do and I would recommend them very highly.

Job was to re-point my property, the bin area and the concrete slabs in the garden = Job was done to a high quality and I am extremely pleased with the results. John is a very hard working, polite and trusting worker and nothing was too much trouble for him. And I would definitely recommend him to others.

Pete is a very reliable builder. He turned up on time, completed everything in the time agreed, and liased with building inspectors on our behalf. We would highly recccomend him and his team for anyone who who needs a reliable builder; who doesn't need supervision, and takes the stress out of contacting building inspectors. Excellent job, very happy.

Damion from swift & neatmuilttrader ltd was fantastic!! he came & viewed the chimney, gave me a very reasonable quote, also didn't make a fuss as some other roofers did!! did the work in under 30min.. excellent job, he very professional. will be using him again on other bits around the house! 5 Star.

I was very satisfied with the results of VFurb's external renovation and decoration work, which took 3 weeks in total, extended due to rain. Dragos worked six days a week to keep me informed of progress, answered all my questions, and identified practical solutions to unforeseen problems, supported by detailed costings . He was always present to supervise his team of 2-4 workers, and personally completed the most complex roofing, piping and guttering jobs himself to a high standard.

Tony Is a great guy, friendly , easy to get on with, never without a smile, and above all takes real proper pride in his work. Very fair and competitive quote for fitting out our new bathroom, i would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Always has a solution if a problem appeared during the job! I went for Huttons as he was the better rated and experienced of the other quotes. We are very pleased with the bookcase. We did have a number of hiccups and this is where I rate them best. Without complaint, issues were sorted out / corrected - I was not left in any way feeling awkward or anything. Often I think it is how a tradesman responds to the hiccups that sets them apart from the others, as not every job is smooth. That is why I would highly recommend them, because if you do have an issue, I can assure you it will be sorted out.

Paul did a fantastic job of painting our front room. The room needed a considerable amount of "making good" before painting (sanding down the wood, filling the wood and plaster) and he spent his time making sure this was done well. The painting was then top quality, and it included delicately painting our ornate cornice. We have since asked Paul to do further decorating for us, including putting up a picture rail, skirting board, fixing wooden floor boards and more painting. He is excellent at his job, careful, professional and reliable. I have already recommended him to friends and would recommend him to anyone looking on this site. He ticks all the boxes of quality, value and reliability.

The guys really went above and beyond the call of duty, working late and over weekends to get our house ready to move in to. They have a great team of people to call on for all aspects of work, finish to a high level, are considerate (we have a new baby) and a pleasure to have around. Budget, potential time implications and solutions are all discussed up front when any issues arise, so no nasty surprises. All in all, highly recommended, we would not hesitate to contact the guys again for further work.
