I would highly recommend Patrick. We had a problem with rising damp and the job was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. Patrick kept me informed throughout the process so I understood what work was being done and the house was left incredibly clean after both days of work. He was also easy to contact which makes the process much smoother and was friendly and professional. I will be using Patrick again for any future work needed!

Updated review for 2024: Hired Mark to plaster my hallway and stairs. The stairs and ceiling are okay but the hallway is shoddy workmanship which is uneven and has trowel marks in it. Mark has unfotuntely refused to come back and told me I am just 'making a fuss'. I feel like he got his money so, now isn't interested in doing the decent thing - shame on you Mark. DO NOT HIRE IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH FINISH!

From the quote to the finished wall, every interaction and piece of work has been carried out to an exceptionally high standard. We received a professionally produced quote and there was great verbal communication throughout the build and they always kept in touch. They ensured we were happy throughout the build, discusing details and materials in line with exactly what we wanted. Very personable, polite, courteous and always punctual. Matthew accepted to paint my front and garage doors at short notice in October when others had refused because of cold weather. He came and worked through the day, sanding and painting the frames, sanding and painting the doors and even adding a lick of varnish to my front step. Knocked a star off just because the oil paint on the inside of the frames didn’t quite dry properly, although it’s still OK. Overall, I’m very happy.

A reasonable quote was given very quickly for a fencing job. The chap I spoke to on the phone beforehand and met on the day of the job (Simon) was polite, knowledgeable and pragmatic. He and a colleague erected the 5 6x6 fence panels and posts without fuss and to a high standard, despite some difficulties inherent in the job. Would definitely recommend and would use again.

The guys were great, really helpful (I asked a lot of questions!) and they turned up when they said they would, working through some pretty awful weather. Can't rate them highly enough and would definitely use them again. They also bailed us out of a tight spot when the fencing supplier let us down with 24hrs to go before the job started. John took care of it and the job got sorted in the time frame they said they would. Overall - excellent. Definitely would use again.

We used WBS for a single storey rear extension in summer 2014 and could not be happier with the finished result. The team provided a fully finished exterior (brickwork, roof, veluxs, french doors & windows) and interior (fitted kitchen, flooring, radiators & woodwork). From the outset Ash was responsive to all of our questions & always responded back to us promptly. Throughout the build the professionalism & workmanship of Ash, Dale and the rest of the team was second to none. Would highly recommend WBS.
