Excellent service. More than pleased with the work carried out. Infact after the initial tidying and hard pruning, we are now going to use Nigel to do some planting and landscaping. Effective & nicely done hedge tidy-up, really made the garden look noticeably better, and all the waste was indeed tidied away and removed from site as promised. I'll be using Sam again for hedges & would trust him with our trees etc too.

Quick to respond and get the work done. We needed big hedges cutting which was done but not as well as I have had them trimmed before. Bit disappointing considering the money paid. Especially since I had received a cheaper quote from another company. I went for speed of service rather than quality. A neighbour has had a similar experience with the same company. Perhaps they are better at paving than hedge trimming?

Disappointed with follow up / snagging service once the contract was 'completed' .Proved difficult to get the outstanding items finished off which sadly was not what we had expected.

We're lucky to own a large and beautiful property and we are very particular who we choose to carry out improvements. Dave and his team were absolutely superb. Their work was impeccable and very artistic. They worked all hours to complete the job and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

The tree felling was done to a very high standard. Care was taken to bring down the tree in stages so that no damage was caused to the surroundings. Matt also very kindly gave some advice to me on pruning a couple of other trees, which was much appreciated. There were issues with communications, when our appointment on a previous day was cancelled without informing us. However, they took on board that we were not happy about the no-show and re-arranged for a few days later.

I did not hire this company due to the fact I requested a payment but only received in its place a weekly payment which was not based on work completed. When ai informed them they wanted to return and chat about it. I was not prepared to do this as it did not give me any good vibes as all builders will give a quote which is then backed by a payment plan based on work completed

Great job done by the guys at CKJ Construction, from the initial consultation through to the work itself. The job was a combination of pulling up, cleaning, re-laying and pointing tiles around the perimeter of the house as well as removing some bushes, putting down turf and installing new sleepers. All work done to a good standard with attention to detail and at a fair price. Would definitely use again and would recommend for a wide variety of jobs. Thank you!

Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

Turned up one day and I paid in full. Cut part of the lawn and then said he needed a part to fix his mower. Went to get part but never came back. Half cut lawn and took full payment = poor

Terrible they have no idea about gardening cut everything down with strimmer even my rhodedrem have lost all my spring flowers they also chipped my car they overcharge should have come back next days didn’t. Sorry but I am angry No Rhodendrum no hydrangea Even cut my tree fern Mrs Jean Mccaig

Harry and the guys came round quickly and gave us a quote, as we could not see what was going on as it was the roof he took photos and videos to show what the problem was. They came back the next day and did the job explained what they had done at each stage and again showed photos so we could see the work. Very pleased with the result…thanks guys

Turned up and worked hard, sometimes in really bad weather. Removed years of undergrowth and left us with a garden that will be a lot easier to maintain. Left everything clean and tidy.Really friendly team who worked around our holidays to leave us with a good lawn.
