Nick & Dave King (Son, Father) have over 50 years exp between them, making up the management team. We enjoy tackling some of the more challenging projects. We're mainly self-build contractors, with a vast network of colleagues,resources and Knowledge.
The guys carried out a fantastic repair of my bathroom roof within the time and budget agreed. They were very careful getting their equipment through the house as there was no rear access and did a good clean up after the job was finished. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if needed or to recommend them to others.

Arthur has completed decking my whole courtyard garden in Eastbourne and I am thrilled with the result. He turned a mess of a garden into a unified area that looks fantastic. I originally wanted some advice and Arthur's ideas were very good and the garden ended up exactly as I had hoped. My garden has no rear access so my house had to house the materials for a while but Arthur was meticulous in cleaning up every evening. The original quote was reasonable and kept to. I would recommend.

I asked originally to have new fencing panels put in, a new patio placed at the top of my garden and to have my new shed built. What I now have are absolutely beautiful fence panels that will last for ages. Even more amazing is the wonderful raised patio at the back of my garden, which I am absolutely overjoyed with. Gareth employs several staff and subcontracts to NICEIC registered Electricians and GAS SAFE registered gas engineers. Therefore, GMS can offer project managing and the client only needs to converse with one trade [GMS] rather than multiple. Thus, taking the stress out of the job.

Matthew overcharged for materials. He told me he paid £40 at Screwfix for the spikes. I was shocked and asked for a copy of the receipt but he didn't provide it. I did pay him in cash for the work then checked the price at Screwfix. The cost is £29.99 not £40. As a result, I cannot recommend him.

Agreed price in written quote went through everything agreed to return to discuss start date 24/04 did not turn up tried calling /texting no reply, Then finally got hold of them using partners number, they agreed to come and chat, When they turned up we were told that there is a " Forum of Bad Payers " and we are on it, We could have given them about 10 different tradesman whom worked on this project all of which would vouch for us. Forum does not exist according to others do not rely on.
Actually, didn't do the job I posted on Rated people, but carried out other work for me. This was to a good enough standard that I have asked to be quoted on getting more work done along the lines of what was ordinarily asked for.
