£5K paid and no bathroom! After initial meeting saying he will squeeze me in, I was left with NO bathroom and £5K out of pocket! I agreed to a £10,400 bathroom, escalated quickly to £13,400 after ripping my old bathroom. 4 boarded walls, a few pipes and 1 electric cable coming out the ceiling, this was apparently the first fix done! He walked off after I only paid £1.5K of the last £2.5K he asked for and sent a text to say he would not be back! An assessment of work was carried out by trades in evidence.

Brendan and his team carried out several jobs around my house, very happy with the results. Not recommended. Various delays on completion of decking job - weather , faulty materials. Paid for work promptly. After two weeks part of decking fell off ( decking unused). Company failed to repair work. Have given me four dates that they would fix - all no shows. Have not heard from them since last no show 29th July. Disappointing.

BMD completed the job a head of time and within budget. The trades men were all good they respected our home and always cleaned up after themselves. Could not say a bad word about them (even the singing brickies). I am so glad I got these alterations done I got the right builder for the job.

I’m still cleaning up days later - glue absolutely everywhere. All up my newly painted skirting boards, up my doors and glue all over new vinyl. No care was taken to prevent the glue from getting everywhere. Plus why would you join the doors by putting vinyl over vinyl? So there’s an obvious bump as you come in through the door. Floor bars were rammed in so he damaged paint. I’ve had to remove the floor bars myself and cut the vinyl to flatten the bumps and I paid full price for all of this?
