A guy called Michael showed up, gave it all the large talk about what he would do. Gave him an address for another project also out of goodwill so he didn’t have to buy another lead. Promised to get back to me despite promising me he would return that week to do the work. Instead just ignored every phone call and message. He kept mentioning about wanting to do it in the evening…. This was impossible as it was a shopfront. Absolutely no balls, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. They will quote +/- £20 to the other tradesmen. Should be banned on this site.

Piotr came very promptly, looked at the project and advised me how he would proceed. He arrived on time and worked steadily keeping me informed about what he was doing. I’m really pleased with the results. He was polite and thoughtful, tidied and replaced the furniture every night so that life wasn’t too disrupted and made the whole process very easy. Cornelius was just great. He came and repaired a leak in our roof on the same day (I think we got lucky because a job had been delayed). So far so good. We managed to also agree on a fair price, so all in all I would use them again.
