John didn't carry out the work for me in the end, as the quote for materials far exceeded estimate given. However, he attended the property the very next day I think, he measured up and gave guidance as to what I needed to buy which was very helpful.
Took Nigel a while to call back to confirm a date and time a date and time for the work. Once he did though, he kept exactly to his word. Turned up, on time and completed the plastering for our stairway to a very high quality with patching and skimming work. The price was very fair and he finished in the time he said he would. Had garden re-modelling done by AL Driveways & Garden Design. All work was completed to a very high standard, no mess, no fuss. Claire & Al were super professional throughout, very accommodating/flexible in their approach (Claire went above and beyond to ensure items we'd ordered separately were delivered in line with the project timescales) and always putting in a full hard day's work - from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening. Arrived approx 1 hour after phoning. Team of 3 worked hard. Work was a good quality and they stayed late to finish the job. Cleaned well after finishing.
They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.
