Had garden re-modelling done by AL Driveways & Garden Design. All work was completed to a very high standard, no mess, no fuss. Claire & Al were super professional throughout, very accommodating/flexible in their approach (Claire went above and beyond to ensure items we'd ordered separately were delivered in line with the project timescales) and always putting in a full hard day's work - from 8 in the morning to 5 in the evening. We're really happy with the work, and would definitely recommend them.

Providing quality building work & repairs throughout Essex and the surrounding areas. We are a building repair company who have been successfully providing services to insurance companies and local authorities since 2004. We specialise in urgent response repairs on insurance claims where flooding, subsidence and other problems occur.
This was one of those jobs that had various problems from the start. Having said that SMS did put them all right without complaint. The quote given for the clearing of the site AND the complete redesign was excellent. The original deadline was missed by a long way primarily due to misjudging the anomalies of the site (eg the underlying concrete was a lot thicker than anticipated). SMS were slow in clearing the site after the work was done - it took almost three weeks before the last of the rubble and debris were moved. Overall, I am pleased with the work done and the final result and would be prepared to use them again.

Reinstated a chimney stack for us built it in original design very pleased with the work . Also opened up the fireplace and laid a new hearth plus installed a stove wood burner. would recommend Mr Skinner and use him for future work. Polite very helpful, and reliable.

Arrived approx 1 hour after phoning. Team of 3 worked hard. Work was a good quality and they stayed late to finish the job. Cleaned well after finishing.
They were very dodgy and unreliable. They took all the agreed money but never came back to finish the job. I was left without a kitchen, cooking utilises and drinking water for two whole months as no other builders were willing to pick up the mess they left behind. The garden was a complete mess with concrete and heavy building rumble. I strongly advise people to be wary of hiring them.

If you live within a conservation area or have trees with TPOs (Tree Preservation Orders) on them I can complete all legal applications in conjunction with your relevant council on your behalf, this is a legal requirement if either of these apply to your tree. Countryside trees responsibly recycles all green waste that is removed from our work sites. Customers can choose to keep logs for fire wood or we can take away.
