He was quick and helpful and looked at the painting job via What's app video. I prefer to see a tradesperson in real life first so went to checkatrade but I would recommend this company if you want quick and clear quotes without further hassle

Lee came and did a painting job for me. He was punctual, polite and did a great job. He had planned to do the job in one day but because of problems outside his control (paint not drying because of the temperature and painting on an outside wall) he came back and finished it the next day at no extra cost. I have money. I asked if you had a PayPal account so I could send you the deposit and you told me to “forget it” and to “find someone else”. You also gave me 1 week to get the work done before you left for 3-4 months. As I said, my feedback was accurate. You seemed nice and willing to help, but the minute I asked for a different more secure way to get you money you told me to forget it. PayPal is tracked, and secure.
I have been in the trade for 22 years. I worked for dulux before I set up on my own 10 years ago. I undertake all aspects of internal/external painting and decorating with a professional, friendly and reasonably priced service. I take pride in my work and aim to make my customers happy with the quality of my work. All my work comes with a guarantee. We also do internal wall skimming and plasterboard repairs, waste removal and house removals.
Jae and Chubbs are nice enough guys and they did a reasonable job on the wallpapering, though there are a few areas in the room where the pattern has not been matched at all. However, be wary of drastic price changes halfway through the job, speed at which they work and also the amount of paper they waste - despite asking us to order more paper, the amount wasted is far beyond the 2 more rolls we ordered - adding a further £100 to our bill!

We had them in to install insulation in our upstairs floor, replace the sub floor, replace some lights, install a loft hatch, and board out our loft. On top of this they discovered a problem in our roof that they fixed. We were incredibly impressed by all of the staff that attended on site. They were friendly, polite at all times, and worked really hard, to a high standard. I couldn't recommend James and his team more, and we've already started talking to them about a further project.
