He gives good prices, but in the end leaves you hanging. Luke replastered the whole house, but some of the work was sloppy. My living room wall is still covered with bumps, which he was supposed to fix before his dad redecorated. His dad painted right over them. This is just one of several problems. So then Luke asked for an early payment and that he would sort all the problems I raised and until then I can hold off 100 pounds. He has since buggered off. I call him, I now get voice mail. Came to give a quote, said they had sent it nothing received. they phoned to ask if I agreed with the quote explained I had not received it resent email address and still nothing. Very disappointed.

Absolutely brilliant service. Lee arrived within 20 mins of first phoning me. Assessed the job went and got materials required, back within 40 mins and all sorted in no time. Hired Lance to render my garden wall and paid hundreds of pounds for the privilege. He made promises about the product being right for the job and guaranteeing it would last for years. However after 10 months all the render has blown and cracked and started to peel off. Safe to say Lance is completely ignoring me when I have asked for some form of aftercare. Should have spotted trouble when I never received an invoice for the work and wish I’d read the (non fake) 1 star reviews all over the internet first.

Left carpet and 2 sets of my ladders covered in plaster. Paid for 2 days work when it only took 1. Had to patch up parts he had missed through rushing the job. Didn't have the correct tools for plastering round the stairs. Used my ladders. Didn't even have enough covers for the carpet.

Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.

Great job done by the guys at CKJ Construction, from the initial consultation through to the work itself. The job was a combination of pulling up, cleaning, re-laying and pointing tiles around the perimeter of the house as well as removing some bushes, putting down turf and installing new sleepers. All work done to a good standard with attention to detail and at a fair price. Would definitely use again and would recommend for a wide variety of jobs. Thank you!

Mark phoned and turned up the following morning with his young colleague ( sorry didn’t catch his name). Decent quote and cracked on with the roof tile and gutter bracket replacement. Job done! Very friendly and helpful service. Thanks Mark and team.

Robert Heilds came to give me an estimate. He was clear about what was necessary and gave me a fixed price for the job. We agreed a date and time and when he was held up, he contacted me to let me know and attended as soon as he could. The job was completed as I expected and he told me to get in touch if I had any subsequent problems. No problems so fae!

Came and visited measured up and said would get back to me with a price. Shook handsthis clearly doesn't mean anything to them. I got the price by text. I agreed and said by text I needed someone you can rely on. The reply by text was you can rely on us we agreed a date and time, I took time off work, I rang emailed and left a voice mail and text to see where they were when they didn't show.I'm still waiting, they are not even polite enough to let me know they couldn't come or didn't want the job.
