George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. A dynamic team of carpenters both reliable and friendly. All aspects of carpentry undertaken 1st and 2nd fix. We have worked on new builds and refurbishments both maintaining the highest of standards. Also do extensions, patios and full bathroom refits.
I hired Luke to do a covered pergola & paid 30% in advance for materials. Communication initially was ok but became frustrating as he wouldn't reply to messages for days. The basic structure was erected but not completed. I didn't hear from him again for over a month, despite chasing. He then said he'd been ill & couldn't complete the job. No idea if he ordered the roofing as he never replied again. The work he's done seems ok but I'm left hanging with no idea of what to do now or what to order.
