Asgard Carpentry’s was founded by the Director Glen Harrison who started out in 2003 as an apprentice with a well respected carpentry company, building bespoke new build projects throughout the South East and surrounding areas while completing his advanced NVQ Level 3 in carpentry and Joinery. He gained numerous years experience within the company while building his own clientele on weekends before starting Asgard Carpentry in March 2018. Since then he has completed numerous projects from new builds to extensions, renovations & kitchen refits. During this time he has also completed numerous construction related courses including CITB SSSTS, health and safety and holding a CSCS gold card

The job: Install a loft access hatch for a side extension to our house, top up the insulation and upgrade our kitchen lighting. Daniel gave a good and competitive quote for the work. Communications throughout were excellent. The work was carried out efficiently and tidily. As well as doing great work he is also very courteous and was respectful to our home. The workspace was left spotless too. After some experiences we’ve had with builders it was refreshing to have such a great experience.

We are a local firm with over 50 years building experience, my son Gareth is a CICS Gold card Carpenter & my oldest son is a City & Guilds advance craft Bricklayer as am I. All of our staff are qualified in their respective trades. Stewart my work partner and myself Adam, combined have over 60 years experience in the building industry. We run a small friendly team of committed guys that have everyone in mind when it comes to health and safety and maintaining a clean and tidy work site with minimal disruption while works commence. Our primarily trades are carpentry/joinery, bricklaying, plumbing, plastering and landscaping. however Stewart and i alone have served lengthy apprenticeships with our fathers and right from the off have turned our hands to all aspects of the building trade. Most importantly we value our customers criteria and strive to go the extra mile in both keeping to strict rota and maintain the job is not only completed within the time frame but to a high standard. We honour our good reputation of being punctual and polite and most importantly easily approachable combined making it an easy working atmosphere which we feel is vitally important. We the team at Artisan's construction look forward to meeting new people and taking on new challenges, The dexterity of work we have undertaken is so varied but generally based around the property development aspect for example... extensions, loft conversions, renovations, layout alterations, roofing, ceramic tiling, landscaping and so much more. We have had years of dealings with building control planning and developing and a good able knowledge of using architectural drawings and structural engineers reports. Where and when appropriately we have an electrician and plumber on the team that can competently carry out works and sign off respectively.
