Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. Michael and (another) Craig turned up to do the job on the day, time given. Good, tidy job. Can't fault anything, from start to finish!! Would recommend!

George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. Vern was very professional and did a great job on my damp proofing work, he plastered the whole wall after the work so there wasn't a distinctive line and also replaced my skirting board with new skirting. Overall very impressed with the work and will be using HM Building again for other building work needed!

Reece was very helpful, guiding me through the regulations the job needed to meet in replacing the window units/adding window restrictors, and then in sourcing the best price. He completed the work in a very efficient time and fitted in with the times when I could be around. The work was assessed initially but on inspection more work was required and the quote was amended and the extra work carried out. M & J renovations specialise in kitchens and bathrooms with over 20 years experience , however are skilled to complete anything from re designs to small repairs in any area of house or garden.
Very poor job. Refurbished entire flat, wont be asking the firm to return.
