George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Worked very hard in less than favourable weather. When problems arose, trees in the way,tree stumps happy to work to resolve. Cleared up each day and at the end of job taking rubbish away. I would certainly recommend him.

Derek contacted me straight away to arrange a visit and quote. Straight away Derek’s presentation and attention to detail pleased me. This project was to update my mother in laws downstairs shower room, Derek recommended a retail outlet for the equipment with assistance over choices. We chose and accepted his quote, which included dismantling the existing fixtures and some build parts of the cramped room. All waste was removed, the project was completed 100% in just over 6 days to satisfaction, recommended.

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful

Delighted with Brian - he got stuck in traffic but kept me posted as to where he was. Quoted a really good price which was half I was expecting so met him in the middle. Will definitely get him back again for a bigger job when budget permits.
Attended promptly but did not conplete all the work I asked for. Just changed a fuse and replaced a light switch. When I asked him to return to complete the work he was very reluctant to do so.
They made contact quickly but I was already happy to discuss the job with another company so didnt pursue this contact.

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!

Cannot comment on glen's work but disappointed with his reliability. He came across as a decent tradesmen, but following a number of visits to assess the work didn't turn up as scheduled and has not returned calls or texts.
