My career in roofing began in 1978, predominately on new build developments. In 1987, although continuing with the new builds, I began to branch out into domestic roofing. This included re-roofs, extensions, repairs and leak investigation. Alongside this, in 2010 I took a Contracts Manager position with a national roofing company, In this role I am responsible for the labour and materials required for various developments in the South East. It is also part of my role to oversee the customer service team. My contacts within the industry enable me to obtain very competitive prices on materials. They did a brilliant job fixing a leaking roof, which was causing me a lot of issues which could of led to serious structural damage. Turned up at short notice, and diagnosed what the actual problem was with the roof, which initially was thought to be something else, honest feedback was given, the full details of the job was discussed clearly, excellent communication skills which I appreciated. The lads turned up and completed the job, efficiently and cleanly. Will use again in the future.
