The two-hour job—replacing ridge tiles, repointing, and waste removal—ended up costing £1,800, including £300 VAT, which seemed high. Anthony promised an invoice but didn’t send it until I contacted Rated People. The invoice was flawed: no VAT number, my name misspelled, and an absurd total of £18,000. Caleb Was the only person who got on the roof to check our dormer. He found there was some orther problems with the way the dormer was fitted from new. He recommend keeping the hood and using a fiberglass resin for the repairs, he then checked the back dormer and repaired that one too. All dormers repaired ,work first class.
