We manufacture and fit certified fire-doors full time. Hi I’m Matthew, I work at a fire door firm, any work I can bring in for myself or the firm is ideal. With new door installs we aim to survey, manufacture & fit within 2 weeks, (door number dependant). Tools & vans & labour is a given. We take on and firedoor works (remedials & new installs) , and any related fire works I.e. firestopping and fire rated partitions / ceilings. We work to a high standard given that fire-doors have strict tolerances and product specifications. We only use the correct products (mastic & A1 / firebatt and blue 60 foam where allowed) and fire-rated ironmongery. We include a report with our works which includes before, during and after photos with any comments / suggestions relating to fire safety. Work in mostly with contracts on care homes and student accommodation, tidiness and quality work is guaranteed - always willing to go back. Working with contracts, there can be breaks in-between phases of works smaller jobs are perfect as well! From the first quotation visit to completion of the job Dave Done (Avalon Electrical) was meticulous and highly competent. In the end we opted for a full rewire. We changed our plans on a daily basis and he adapted and fitted round what we were doing. We certainly feel that we had a fully professional job undertaken. We never knew just how much mess it would all make when chasing walls and moving switches. You need to invest in plenty of dust sheets!.

Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.
