We are a period/listed property restoration company. I am also extremely capable at doing many manual labour jobs, but often favour a shorter timeline for my clients project completion and therefore prefer to draft in experienced trades to get the job completed. Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Fantastic service from Cristian - was quick to respond to the initial request, I sent him some photos and he quoted straight away, and then was here 3 days from making the request. Extremely pleasant guy who clearly knew what he was doing and from start to finish I couldn't be happier. He also fitted a chimmney cowl that I had whilst up on the roof as part of his original quote. If you want someone to do a great job, will leave the place spotless and DON'T want a dodgey roofer then he's your man.

Listened. Did the job that was asked of them. Called when they were running late to let me know they were still coming. Job was finished on time. Haven't dropped a star for being a couple of hours late as traffic etc. can easily do that and the job was still finished on time. Neighbour asked for same work to her garden after seeing mine. Another neighbour asked for tree work following my work.
Been in the trade since 1978, cover all aspects of roofing,leadwork,zinc,single ply membranes,upvc fascias and gutters, done some prestigeous jobs in my carer including the British Libriary at kings cross and the Queens Chapel at St James park,London and various other contracts large and small, i am a holder of a CSCS card with qualifications stated, for 12 years i worked for a company as a contracts manager so i have done both sides of my trade including quoting,and invoicing on jobs to the value of 200k. My knowledge of roofing is second to none and would always try to save the customer money,and you can only do that with experiance even on smaller jobs as well as the largest ones. Cannot recommend highly enough. The work was finished to a really high standard. They were really adaptable when the tiles we had ordered failed to arrive on time. They adjusted their plans and worked really hard to get the work done on time, without compromising on the quality of the finish. They were also really considerate of working around young children, and were very patient with little interruptions from a fascinated six year old!

The Project Manager was also on hand to answer any questions I had and offered me adviced on how best to move forward. We ended up refurbishing our entire bathroom which is looking great now.
