Following initial problems with the work, the roofing guys returned to put right the shortfalls which closed the job satisfactorily. However I had to oversee the work completion myself via Google Translate due to no instructions and poor communications to the work team. Ryan responded to the job listing very quickly, and came round next day to inspect the roof. He then provided a written quote within a few hours. The quote was very competitive, and we thought Ryan was friendly and knew what he was talking about, so we decided to go with him. He then came round the next day - a Saturday - to fix the roof tiles, and he did an excellent job of matching the missing ridge tiles and rear tiles. We would definitely consider using Ryan and Direct Improvements again in the future.

I got my flat roof repaired because it leaked, guess what, it still leaks. Futhermore. I've now got a damaged ceiling with holes in. These guys haven't returned any of my messages since 24th Oct. They've taken £450 for guttering and facia, which wasn't completed. I have text messages and videos of rain coming sent to them, if anyone would like to see them

I have concerns about the validity of this contractor; I have been advised by an independent contractor that the work is of a poor standard and will need to be rectified. I also have evidence of dishonesty. He told me he needed extra money to replace wooden battens but refused to provide a receipt. Ii have security cameras and it was clear that he had not delivered them. The following day he said that his contractors had 'cut off the rotten bits' and used concrete. I am taking legal action.
