John and the team did an outstanding job. It was easy to work with John and he was very knowledgeable, and provided very sensible advice. Other people quoted work which was over-the-top or wouldn't have solved the problem but John got right to the issue in a no-nonsense way. Quality of the work undertaken was very good, considering the age of the building and complexity. Would recommend.
So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

We contacted Ciprian for a quote to put up a shed for us in the garden. He promptly called us and gave us a price. Which we agreed. True to his word, he came on time and with all the tools required to complete the job. We were a little concerned as we had never used the platform nor met him prior. But he required no supervision from us, carried on quietly and very neatly completed the job. If I could leave 0 I would! Ended up having to call the police after they demanded payment for a gutter they put on backwards so the drain pipe does not go into a drain but just hangs over my driveway! They broke my gate and complained they had to fix it! Tried to say it was like that! They didn't fix the leaking ones either! Got very aggressive when I said I wasn't happy about the gutter being on the wrong way and threatened to destroy more of my property. Smashed plant pots as well utterly disgusting.

Engagement with Incompetent Lairs would be my way of describing my experience. Hiring Kevin and his team has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had on Rated. He completed the roofing task assigned and gave a 7 year warranty. But there was a significant leak the very next day when it rained. I have called severally for the leaks to be repaired based on the warranty but my calls and messages have been ignored.
