I posted a job and David from Advance Roofing was both quick to respond and attend for a quote the next day. His price was very competitive and completed the works needed in the time frame he initially gave. Spent all day with a colleague fixing my issue and so far seems to have done a great job. An excellent job at a competitive price. Aaron provided a quote which outlined details of the job to be done. They arrived as promised at 7.45 and had the job done in just over 6 hours. The work was neat and tidy and they cleaned up thoroughly after - no mess left for us. Aaron discussed in detail the problems discovered and has suggested further minor work to improve ventilation in the roof - which we will have done. Overall we are very happy with the work and would use Solid Roofing Services again.
My career in roofing began in 1978, predominately on new build developments. In 1987, although continuing with the new builds, I began to branch out into domestic roofing. This included re-roofs, extensions, repairs and leak investigation. Alongside this, in 2010 I took a Contracts Manager position with a national roofing company, In this role I am responsible for the labour and materials required for various developments in the South East. Turned out to be a huge job in the end and project escalated which I was given full explanations and photo evidence of. Job timelines could have been better but could not fault work quality. Guys who carried out the work very polite and discussed what they were doing if anything needed consulting on to make sure I was happy.

Whilst my previous review praised the spraying work carried out by Prime Property Improvements, the same cannot be said for the quality of the roof repairs. Not only did they make little effort to secure matching replacement tiles, but they were reluctant to use a dark enough pink colouring for the mortar and did not use the normal alignment equipment. My local roofer has more than enough spare tiles and has all the equipment needed for a good job. Don't engage PPI for roof repairs!
