Academy Flooring Services is a company specialising in sanding, restoration and fitting of floorboards, solid and engineered wood flooring. We carry out oiling waxing and dyeing of reclaimed timber, bespoke colouring, floor filling concrete hearth removal, beading skirtings and mouldings. We also provide screeds and damp courses for flooring and carry out structural joist work. We also provide acoustic soundproofing for sub floors. We fit laminate, strip and Parquet woodflooring depending on the requirement. Glue, floating, suspended floor or secret nail fixing systems. Gerasimos did a floor fitting for me in a bathroom and hallway. He did an excellent job. The hallway has 4 doors and he dealt with this really well, he followed every small detail and curve. He is very meticulous and the finishes are immaculate. If you have any other issues in the house he gives advice. He is tidy and cleans before he leaves. He is very calm and polite. I would recommend him to everyone and definitely use his services again.

Stewart my work partner and myself Adam, combined have over 60 years experience in the building industry. We run a small friendly team of committed guys that have everyone in mind when it comes to health and safety and maintaining a clean and tidy work site with minimal disruption while works commence. Our primarily trades are carpentry/joinery, bricklaying, plumbing, plastering and landscaping. however Stewart and i alone have served lengthy apprenticeships with our fathers and right from the off have turned our hands to all aspects of the building trade. Most importantly we value our customers criteria and strive to go the extra mile in both keeping to strict rota and maintain the job is not only completed within the time frame but to a high standard. Really, really pleased with our new bathroom! Dan did an excellent job and worked really hard throughout the time he was with us. The job was more difficult than either of us anticipated, plus we asked him to do a few extra bits not originally quoted for, but he just ploughed on until the job was done. Dan always cleaned up after each day and tried to keep mess to a minimum. The finish in the bathroom is first class, we just love it! Will certainly use him again and recommend him to others.
