I am a an electrician with over 17 years experience. I specialise in domestic, commercial and industrial work, ranging from smaller jobs such as new sockets and lights, to bigger projects such as rewires and fit outs. I completed a City and Guilds apprenticeship when I first started in 2008. I am an inspector and tester so can faultfind, rectify and commission electrical systems.
Sadly we arranged a day, no show, no contact nothing. I left a message (just one) asking to let me know if he was still coming. No response. Next day I received a message very early, no explanation, no apology! It wasn’t convenient for the job to be done the following day. Having discussed this in initial contact. Communication is key and when there is none confidence in the person goes. I was worried about the distance but was assured that it wasn’t an issue! Very disappointing experience.?

They responded quickly. Did the job so far, so good. Time will tell if the patchwork of rendering stays in place and does the job. I have given them 5 stars on the chance that it does. I hired Tom trading as Plaster Master to repair bedroom ceiling and board the loft and install loft ladder and replace the loft hatch. He gave an honest estimate for the work and the time line needed to complete the project which he did on time. I won't hesitate to use his services again.He was extremely reliable and professional arrived at the time he said and he tidied up at the end of each day’s work. I thoroughly recommend him! Very fast response. Fixed one of the problems but tried to get away with a lousy job for the other. When I said it was not acceptable, he changed the switch but didn’t do it correctly. As a result it kind of works but not as it should. I asked him to come and fixed it. He said he was going on holidays. I contacted him a few weeks later and he never replied. AVOID HIM. Not worth it.

Updated review for 2024: Hired Mark to plaster my hallway and stairs. The stairs and ceiling are okay but the hallway is shoddy workmanship which is uneven and has trowel marks in it. Mark has unfotuntely refused to come back and told me I am just 'making a fuss'. I feel like he got his money so, now isn't interested in doing the decent thing - shame on you Mark. DO NOT HIRE IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH FINISH!
