But he spoke with such authority and knowledge about his trade that it was impossible not to choose him. This decision proved to be well founded. Once apprenticed to a well known local decorating firm, and with formal City & Guilds qualfications, Pat worked with such an air of confidence and competence. Zlatko was brilliant. I made the initial contact for the work to be carried out at my sons' house. My son had just had a wood burning stove installed (it was a wedding present from my wife and myself) Obviously, there was a good deal of making good that needed doing. A fire surround and cast iron grate had to be removed. Once contact was made with Zlatko it was all systems go. He turned up on time to give a quote which was very competitive. He turned up the next day and did a super job.
