George and his team did a superb job at our house. His punctuality and communication have been outstanding; he always replies very quickly to messages and sent us countless videos of his work to keep us updated. He gave us some very fair and informed advice on how to tackle extra problems with our roof. His invoices were very detailed and clear and competitively priced. Fully recommended! Came around and got measurements, went away and sent over quote for the job very quickly. Had another that was q touch cheaper however, from the conversation I had, believed that the job would be of a better quality through D&S and was glad with my decision. after speaking to Cassandra from Rated people I have decided that the public need to know that Adam Radcliffe is a smoothe talker who knowingly has not applied k-rend to the specified manufacturers requirements and therefore the certificate for guarantee cannot be issued

No response to any attempts at communication once I had paid. No key sent for the new lock I had fitted. Another locksmith had to come out to sort out eh lock and said it was a bad job.

Actually, didn't do the job I posted on Rated people, but carried out other work for me. This was to a good enough standard that I have asked to be quoted on getting more work done along the lines of what was ordinarily asked for.

Attended promptly but did not conplete all the work I asked for. Just changed a fuse and replaced a light switch. When I asked him to return to complete the work he was very reluctant to do so.

Mark did a great job fitting our new gas boiler. He was reliable and worked hard to get the job done on time. Mark was professional and accomodating throughout and his building skills came in very handy in making good following the removal of our old boiler, meaning that we didn't have to find a seperate builder to do that side of things. We would happily recommend Mark to others. Thanks Mark.

Very pleased with the work done, not quite finished yet but happy to pay the bill and await their return next week to complete works. Work done quickly and efficiently. Happy to answer my numerous questions. Fairly priced and able to do more than just plastering which was what I needed. Would have no reservations to recommend and would definitely use again.

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!

Did a very mediocre job, I will have to sand back part of the plastering and do some filling where the wall meets the ceiling and the wall meets the wall. Tap and basin was damaged. Left an awful mess which took me hours to clear up including pva all over the basin, bath, floor, tiles and windows. Plaster over everything including the floor in the bathroom, and kitchen where he had walked it through.

Came to quote. Agreed to take on the job. Contacted me that morning to cancel as he "had to sort out a problem with existing job". After a few weeks I called to arrange a new date at 5pm and he agreed to come the following morning. Texted my address again as requested (admittedly on the morning he was due but before he had arranged to turn up. Received text telling me he thought I had changed my mind and was doing another job. This is less than 12 hours after we agreed. Getting someone else.

Only one local tradesman got back to me and the quote was ridiculous. I ended up getting quotes myself and they were all half the price.
