Hello! I'm a fully qualified bricklayer(city and guilds 1992) with over 30 years' experience in the trade. I am primarily a bricklaying specialist though I am more than happy to do natural stone work as well. I have worked on and completed many projects including new builds, small and large extensions, commercial and private developments, retaining walls, stone work, re-pointing, renovations, fireplaces, Indian stone flagging, renovations and structural alterations. I have sub-contracted for most of the major house builders, worked for private developers, and also many bricklaying contractors, though I am now focussing on working direct for the public offering a professional, efficient and competitive bricklaying service which includes all aspects of bricklaying from new builds,extensions and garden/retaining walls right through to a small repair job! I had a French drain installed to the rear of my house. It's an old house circa 1890 so I needed a sympathetic course of action to stop a damp problem. Martin has in depth knowledge about historic and ancient buildings which is a must. If you need work on an older house with more traditional methods, I can highly recommend the expertise. james and his crew worked like trojans to clear the trees and dispose of the spoils-even starting in the rain with no complaints-i asked for extra work to be done and with no complaint they took it in their stride-payment for this being a couple of hot cross buns and diet coke !!-i was going to have the stumps grinded out but james and his trusty 2 ton digger ripped them out-leaving the ground flat and virtually ready for turfing-they even knocked down a wall and levelled the site-5 stars are not enough!!
