Despite assuring me that he understood how to prune an apple tree, once the work started, it became very clear that William and his helper had no idea. I ended up with the tree a good outline shape but no effort had been made to reduce overlapping branches etc. that an experienced person would have been done. He continued to ignore my requests and we parted on very bad terms.

Working outside in the commercial maintenance industry I learned a huge amount about the work and all the different areas of work there are. I’ve learned the work from starting at the bottom and rising to the top, I’ve taken on more challenging roles such as being a supervisor but I always love to get involved in the work. In every job challenges can arise. Working outside in the great British weather can be a challenge in itself especially as you never know what Mother Nature is going to throw at you. I’ve been stump grinding since 2017, over these 7 years I’ve gained vast experience in the field and now have a range of specialized equipment ready to deal with the smallest of stumps to the mightiest ones as well.
